“Where are all the anvils?”

Such a long, boring day at work. Mid-semester is always very slow… Luckily I am very behind on all of my Google Reader reading. I don’t even know when it was that I fell behind! I seriously started crashing at about 2:30 and the almonds in my desk just weren’t appealing. I was ready to go to sleep! Jason (the Husband) was kind enough to pick me up and I came home and crawled onto the couch with Rose for a quick doze while J. got ready for work.

And a quick 4:30 dinner of leftover black bean soup:

1 can black beans (drained and rinsed)

1 can refried beans

1 can of vegetable stock

1 jar of salsa

~ 1/3 cup of natural cheddar (bought on sale for half the price!)

And some spinach in Kraft’s lite raspberry vinaigrette for some green:

The rain has discouraged a run and gave the Husband the car to get to and from work so I’m going to take advantage of the excuse out of exercise and rest up.

To do this weekend:

Friday: Fold laundry from last weekend (to happen while watching Neflixed One Tree Hill)

Friday/Saturday: Wash the week’s clothes and linens and the duvet cover, follow by folding

Saturday:

  • Make it to the gym by 11, treadmill run, Yoga-lates at noon
  • Groceries
  • Change sheets and swap duvet for light blanket
  • Finish last 40 pages of Dostoevsky’s Notes from Underground
  • Finish (maybe re-read) the Simmel article
  • Outline article

Sunday:

  • Write at least three pages of paper
  • Gym at 3:30
  • 1.5 hour yoga at 4

With the husband working tonight and tomorrow night I should be able to get to bed quite early both nights and have more time for being productive during the day. There definitely won’t be any alarm setting though! Time to get a start on that folding
